Where to wait

I stopped by Mako Coffee with my team. It's a small booth-style coffee place, and the coffee comes from a Moka Pot, so it's strong and concentrated. There's a long menu, so you can pick what you like.

What we had and what it cost

  • Americano and Thai tea
  • Starting at 35 baht a cup (the price from the menu the day we went)

The vibe and service The owner is friendly and easy to chat with. There are camping-style tables and chairs, so you can sit and wait for your drink. For the money, the size of the drink is good value.

Things to keep in mind

  • At lunch time, if you're driving, expect to park a bit further away and walk. It's worth it.
  • Opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 6am to 3pm.

Where to find it Prachak Silpakom Road, Mak Khaen Subdistrict, Mueang Udon Thani 41000. Call 099-290-8326 or check the map.
