We went as two people and had two bowls of the tom yum noodles. It's an old shop, the kind that's been doing the same thing for decades, and the broth tastes like the tom yum I remember from years back: sour and spicy, with a slightly sweet finish.

What we had and what it cost

  • Tom yum pork noodles, two bowls for two people (price from the menu: 50 baht a bowl to start)
  • Starting at 50 baht a bowl (the price on the wall the day we went)

The vibe and service The staff are friendly and relaxed. Inside it's all wood and old-school decor, and you can sit at tables that are clearly split into zones.

Things to keep in mind

  • It closes at 2pm, so go for lunch or earlier.
  • The shop has Michelin plates from 2025 and 2026 on the wall, and a Quality Product of Udon Thani sign.
  • At lunch time, if you're driving, expect to park a bit further away and walk. It's worth it.

Where to find it 89/3-4 Nares Road, Mak Khaen Subdistrict, Mueang Udon Thani. Call 042-245298 or check the map.
